Situated riverfront, in picturesque Kangaroo Point, Shafston House was initially the McConnel Home until 1913. In 1915 it was leased to the Crèche and Kindergarten Association as an early childhood teacher trainer centre. The Mary McConnel School of Early Childhood offers blended learning through both distance education and face-to-face contact. It has a fully equipped childcare facility and training room to ensure an engaging, interactive and enjoyable education journey for all.
